OVERVIEW
Orchid And Pine is THE coffee shop to flock to in Austin, TX. Created by famed barista brother and sister Justin and Eddie Maine, the original hole in the wall has grown to five locations across the state, all serving the very best caffeinated concotions you've ever tasted. An ode to their florist mom and carpenter father, the shop is all wood, concrete and flower walls, with orchids of all varieties perched on the many pine shelves amongst Chemex brewers and espresso cups. We chose clean lines and a minimalist tone for this shop's visual identity, in order to best balance an interior design relying on textures and the warmth of the living walls. We were also tasked to create a line of accessories and merchandise for their growing fan base. The simplicity of the logo, combined with the most comfortable pima and supima cottons, turned sweaters, t-shirts and trucker hats into a familiar sight in the city in a matter of weeks.
